More detail »Thomas Richardson III was born at Castle Eden in December 1846. He was a Director of Richardsons, Westgarth & Co. and in 1895 he followed in his father's footsteps to become the Member of Parliament for the Hartlepools (a Liberal Unionist). He was knighted in 1897 and died in May 1906.
