This imposing house in Hutton Avenue is number 24 today, looks much the same and is divided into flats. At the time of the photo, it obviously had a tennis court and where this once was, is Hutton Court which looks to have been built in the 1980s. It is very unlikely that the tennis court survived until that date. The photograph perhaps was taken in the late 1920s- 1930s ? The home was called Lyndenhurst and was owned by Mr Tweddle , manager of the Coop.
Grange Road Methodist Church can be seen in the background.
