'Little India' as it was known locally was demolished around 1984 and consisted of Aden, Bombay, Calcutta and Durban Groves. It was an area where some of the people of 'Wagga' were rehoused following the demolition of parts of Hill St, Florence St and Portland St.
'Little India' gradually became an area with problems before it was demolished. There is grassland and bushes today where the houses stood.
Taken around 1984 when the road was demolished. Aden Grove was off Seaton Lane and in an area of the town known as 'Little India' It was often a problematic area of the town.
The other groves were Bombay, Durban and Calcutta.
