Voyages: 1859 Hartlepool for Aden; 1861 London via San Francisco for Sydney, NSW; 1862-66 Leith for Australia 1868 London for India; July 1873 arrived Dundee from Calcutta; 1873 Shields for India; 1875 Liverpool for Sydney; 1880 via Melbourne for Sydney; 22 March 1891 arrived at Wellington, New Zealand in ballast from Santos; 3 March 1900 bound for Falmouth with a cargo of lumber she lost her rudder & was taken in tow by the Intonia. She was abandoned on 5 March 30 miles from Fayal because of the hawser parting. The tug Condor of St Michael’s went to her assistance.

Bound from Hamburg for Hong Kong, while at anchor in the Elbe at Cuxhaven on 23 December 1900, the Weser sprang a leak & sank after being run into by the German steamer Milano. The crew of the Weser were picked up by the Milano’s boats.
