Tom McAndrew, a well known local artist, painted this view of Catcote Farm looking towards the east. He would have been standing where Catcote Road is now near the road up to Summerhill and looking towards the sea.
The farm was where part of the Family Wood is now, in between the path from Elwick Road to Catcote Road and the older of the West Rugby Club buildings.
Tom's son Russell donated the slide of the painting to hhtandn.
