A reminder of the 3 day week and electricity shortages that featured life in the early 70s. To avoid disruption in the work place, one Stockton company bought its own generator from Sweden which the Mail photographer took the pic in the course of his work. It being an unusual item to be snapped (and on a local coal merchants wagon, the road haulage industry was also booming at this time)!
