What we know about this image :
Smartly dressed mums (or teachers?)and children gathered at the school gate of the now demolished Junior entrance to the school. This looks to be when the school was very new as trees have just been planted. The image shows the school hall windows to the left of the entrance. All of this part of the school to the right of the chimney was destroyed by fire in 1998 and has been rebuilt, the Nursery now being on this same site.
