The central part of All Saints' Parish Church, Stranton was built in the 12th century and the tower in the 14th century. The clock was added in 1865.
Villagers of Seaton Carew were interred here prior to Holy Trinity Churchyard's Consecration.
More detail »Originally chapelry of Stranton Church on the corner of Arncliffe Gardens and Elwick Road. THe foundation stones was laid in 1902. The building for many years has been the parish hall and many church clubs and recreational activities take place there. It is also an active neighbourhood centre today.
