Ullapool - Lives lost 1941

Master: 1941 William Jewitt Thwaites.

Ullapool was lying off Princes Stage in the Mersey when she was hit by a parachute mine dropped from a German aircraft. She broke in two & sank on 13 March 1941. 16 lives lost including master.
