At the bottom of Windermere Road on what was briefly called the Sheepshank Estate. The prefabs were built after WW2 and the roads named after places in the Lake District. The estate was, as can be seen, very close indeed to the Steel Works.

Road which runs north to south from Sydenham Road to Windermere Road and parallel with Belle Vue Way.
It is of mixed housing, some from around 1900, some the 1930s. Following World War 2 an estate of prefabricated houses originally called the Sheepshank Estate was built in the area.
