A slightly fuzzy image of a day out on the North Sands - 'Sandy Banks' sometime around 1939. The lady with the dark hair (second row from the top, far left), is Alice Easton. On the far right is Mrs. Leece (wearing the black and white spotted dress), with her son Mick just in front (dark jacket), and Mrs. Pevler behind her. Mrs. Peggy Fishwick is in the centre on the back row, with Phyllis Robinson (holding a child with a white cap on her lap), is centre left. On the front row, far right, is George Easton.
