George & Elizabeth Hodgson
What we know about this image :
George was born in 1866 to Robert & Mary (nee Corner) Hodgson who lived at Knowles Yard in Seaton Carew. He was one of ten children. In 1888 he married Elizabeth Johnston & they lived at 4 Charles Street in Seaton Carew with their ten children. George spent his working life as a labourer but also served as a volunteer on the Seaton Carew lifeboats John Lawson & Francis Whitbourn.
He died in 1929 & is buried in Holy Trinity Churchyard.
