What we know about this image :

Three photos of the 'Watcher' being lowered onto its plinth to the front of the Art Gallery & Museum. The artist John Atkins was commissioned to design the sculpture by the Teeside Development Corporation in 1987. Expanded Metal completed the work in metal and concrete.
