What we know about this image :

An interesting gym display taken in the playground of the Boys' Tech. The photo is not dated so it is unclear if the boys are 'grammar school' boys before Brinkburn opened or Technical School boys.

In the background, the rear of the Grand Hotel can be seen on the corner of Swainson Street and victoria Road.
