From a 1952 booklet of photos, this is probably the older school pupils at a school swimming event at the old Billingham Baths. There are approximately 80 boys and only 15 girls.
The principal Mr Gallimore is fourth from the right on the back row and third from right is Sgt Bosworth the PE instructor.
