Probably in the 1920s in the garden of Greystones ? Broomhill? Stanhope Avenue ?, family members enjoy a picnic. The tennis balls and the man on the left in 'whites' suggest a game of tennis has been played. Greystones did have a tennis court.

A family, originally from Sweden, who played an important role in timber importing in the town in the late 19th and early 20th century.
