Torpedoed by Japanese submarine (1-27 Fukumura Toshiaki) and sunk off the Gulf of Aden on November 29th, 1943. On a voyage from Lourenco Marques for Beirut & Tripoli with a cargo of coal. Two passengers and nine of the crew were lost.
