Fate

The British steamship Penhallow was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-48 (Wolfgang Steinbauer), 50 miles off Cape Caxine, Algeria, on June 12th, 1918. The ship was on a voyage from Buenos Aries to Italy with a cargo of grain. Master F.E. Mitchell. One crewman was lost.
