Fate

The British steamship Harpagus was torpedoed and sunk by U-34 (Johannes Klasing) south-west of Planier Island, near Marseilles, France, on May 9th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from New Orleans to Marseilles with general cargo. Master W.E. Pope. Three crewmen were lost.
