Fate

The steamship Marie Elsie was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-28 (Georg Schmidt), off northern Finland, on June 10th, 1917. The ship was on a voyage from Penarth to Archangel with a cargo of coal. 3 crew were lost. Master O.E. Fremantle.
