The image which was probably taken in the late 1950s looks up Sheriff Street towards the Duke St Coop store which is still there as a convenience store on the corner of Duke St and Cundall Rd. Plevna St is on the left of the picture. The left hand side on the picture is now demolished and is the playing field of Lynnfield School. The right hand side of the street remains today and there are still a few short terraces on the left hand side.
