Tin Boxes Factory, Thornton Street, Hartlepool. Opened 1927 in the Liverpool Buildings
Ouston Street, Hartlepool which is now the entrance to Middleton Grange Shopping Centre. St Johns United Reformed Church on the left. Church is now demolished. The building that faces you looking down the street, was the Tin Box factory which was bombed in 1940.
The factory opened in 1927 in Thornton Street. This shows the side of the building after being bombed in an air raid on 21 July 1940. The premises of Cecil M Yuill, Builder, is to the right of the view.
