On a voyage from Malaga for Liverpool with a cargo of fruit & wine & a crew of 28 Tormes struck Crow Rock near Pembroke & broke in two on 30 October 1894. 7 were picked up by the steam trawler Exmouth. A boy was washed ashore alive but died soon after. The steward Pablo, one of the survivors, had only one arm & that was broken in several places. 21 lives were lost.
