Miscellaneous: 10 October 1878 Dagmar was severely damaged in a collision with a large Greek vessel; 1886 sank at Cardiff & was raised; 20 July 1888 Robert Dawson aged 20, ordinary seamen from Belfast, was killed when he fell from aloft while at Seaham Harbour.
Bound from Portbessan for Dieppe in ballast Dagmar went ashore & was wrecked about eight miles west of Dieppe in early January 1914. No lives lost. Her British registry was closed on 12 January 1914.
