This is one of twelve superb underwater images taken by diver Helen Tsopouropoulou, of the underwater remains of the Helmstedt lying in 70m of water off the Greek island of Evia. 
This image was taken at the stern of the vessel, and shows a circular brass band or strap, believed to be off the emergency steering wheel.

An excellent photomosaic of the wreck of the Helmstedt, lying in 70m of water off the Greek island of Evia. This image shows that although the ship is more or less intact, the bow section is badly damaged and has collapsed.
