Fate

The V-class destroyer HMS Vendetta survived both World Wars and was eventually scuttled off Sydney, Australia in 1948.
While serving aboard the destroyer during the First World War, Leading Signalman George Henry Hardy, of West Hartlepool, died of an illness.
