Fate

On a voyage from Trouville to Newcastle-on-Tyne in ballast & with a crew of seven Allison was stranded & lost in heavy weather near Jury’s Gap Coastguard Station, Rye in 50.55.15N/00.50E on 14 January 1879. The lifeboat Storm Sprite took off the crew.
