Voyages: 15 December 1871 arrived at Gibraltar from Newcastle: August 1878 sailed from Shields for Swinemunde: 11 October 1889 arrived at Liverpool from Iceland: January 1891 from Newcastle-on-Tyne for Rouen with a cargo of coal Raithwaite Hall was in a collision in dense fog in the English Channel with the Stockton tanker Caroline Robert de Massey. The tanker sank & Raithwaite Hall was badly damaged. She was taken in tow by the Dover tug Lady Vita. The tanker was later refloated. No lives lost.
