Miscellaneous: 9 May 1845 from Stockton-on-Tees for Deptford with a cargo of fire bricks and coke was moored in the river off the lower Watergate, Deptford. Her moorings were too taut and she was unable to rise with the tide causing the water to overflow onto the deck & down the companion-way into the cabin where seven of the crew were sleeping. An apprentice was in the lower hammock and when the water reached him he woke and gave the alarm. The Thames Police rowed alongside and took off the crew. When the tide ebbed the crew returned to the vessel and pumped out the water.
On 25 September 1854 Admiral Drake was totally lost on the Little Vogel at the entrance of the Elbe during a heavy gale. Crew saved.
