For many years, Hartlepool had a vibrant Caledonian Society and every year on the 25th January a Burns Dinner was held in the Grand Hotel ballroom.
On this image, the Scottish tradition of piping in and addressing the haggis has taken place and it is being cut by Dr Andrew Frazier in the centre.
